Spirulina Energy Bars

Spirulina isn’t the only superfood in this power bar!

 ¼ cup Golden Flax, ground
 ½ cup Pumpkin Seeds, raw
 2 tbsp Protein Powder
 2 tbsp Cacao Powder, raw, unsweetened
 1 tbsp Spirulina Powder
 3 tbsp Coconut Oil (softened or melted)
 1 ½ tbsp Honey, Pure Maple Syrup, or Coconut Nectar (we use about 1 tablespoon, but you may want to start with a little more until you get used to the taste)
 1 tsp Vanilla Extract, alcohol free

Mix all of the above in a bowl and spread out into a parchment lined pyrex type dish.


Place the dish in the freezer and allow to chill about 10 minutes.


Break pieces off as needed and keep stored in the freezer.
