This low sugar, additive free granola is a taste treat.
Preheat the oven to 325º. Take out two baking sheets and set aside.
In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients except dried fruit.
In a glass measuring cup, combine the maple syrup, oil and vanilla. Mix well with a fork.
Drizzle the syrup mixture over the oats/nuts mixture, and stir as you go. Gently keep stirring until all the oats are coated with the syrup blend.
Spread the granola mixture onto the two baking sheets. Bake in the center of the oven for roughly 20 minutes until golden and toasty.
Check the granola half way through baking time to stir gently.
Remove from the oven and allow the pans to cool.
Mix in the dried fruit.
Store in an air-tight container.
Additional Notes:
We kept the sugar low but taste outrageous in this upgraded version of granola. Most store brands contain hoards of sugar, isolated processed soy protein and other additives which can do your body more harm than good. Feel free to mix and match the nuts and seeds, and add other spices such as ginger or cardamom.

How much oil? How much vanilla? It seems the recipe is missing some ingredients.
Thank you for all the breakfast options. I need some variety or I turn back to sugary cereal. 🙂
This is fixed now, thanks for the heads up!
