In a Rush? Quick Easy Dinners to the Rescue

We know how hard it is to have a busy, hectic day and then come home (or go into the kitchen if you work from home) at dinner time.  You are hungry, possibly tired, and family members might be getting cranky. The easiest thing to do is pick up the phone to order food or hop in the car to go grab some take out.

Well, maybe that’s the easiest (we’ll get to that in a minute) . . . but it’s definitely not the healthiest.  While it’s certainly okay to order out occasionally, when it becomes a habit it can lead to weight gain, lower energy, poor digestion and compromised health.  Many of the fast foods are loaded with toxins and unhealthy ingredients that can rob your energy and leave you nutritionally depleted. When you are not nourishing your body properly, this can lead to cravings, trouble concentrating, sleeping, waking up… well, you get our drift. 

So let’s get back to EASY. Though we love experimenting with all types of recipes, our biggest request is for those that are simple, family friendly and delicious. We are all about eating healthy foods that are easy and quick to prepare, and dinner is no exception.
